DUNEDIN.—This day.
DDNEDlN.—Thisday. Major Leary entertaiued the Governor and a large company, including the representatives of both Houses, consuls, and Chairmen of Public Bodies. The chief speaker was the Governor, who said that there were evidences of the depres* sion passing away, and lauded Dunedin as a place of residence. Mr Belcher also spoke strongly against the imposition of fees for education.
