ANOTHER VERSION.
In the House of Commons to-day a question was put to the Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs regarding the report of the attempt made on the life of the Czt, and in reply Sir J. Ferguson stated that Government were informed from St. Petersburg that several persons with bombs in their possession had been arrested at different points along the route which it was expected would be taken by the Czar yesterday when proceeding to the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul to attend the requiem service for the late Kmperor. His Mejeaty had attended the service without any attack having been made upon him.
