London, August 19. The proposed reduction in press cablegrams will greatly depend on a reduction being made by the South Australian Government on the rates charged on the Port Darwin line.
It is expected that the hop crop will be up to the average. The Continental crops show a surplus, and American shipments arc tending to depress prices.
