The repairs to the battery will be com* pleted this evening, and crushing will be commenced to-morrow morning. The footwall leader which has been followed from the Imperial mine is being stripped. A little of it, however, which fell down showed gold freely. The rise on the Mariner's reef is progressing satis* factorily, and payable quartz will be to hand in a few days. In the Saxon end of the mine driving on No. 2 leader has been resumed) and the country is more favor* able for gold than it has been hitherto; GOLD RETURNS. Moanataibi.-—Truscott and party's crushing produced 6ozs 3dwts gold.
