This day,
A shop and house occupied by J. Smith, a Chinaman, at Otaki, was destroyed by fire this morning. It is understood that insurances on the stock and building areNational £400, South British £100. The Missing Barque. The Colonial Insurance Company has received a cable message from the Melbourne Underwriter's Association, stating that the barqueLochnaga'', for the safety of which fears were entertained, arrived at London on May 2nd.
