Ask for Hitchens'^ Blood Restorer, THE GBEAT NEW ZEALAND REMEDY FOR* CLEANSING, PURIFYING, AND INVIGORATING THE BLOOD. fTpHE Proprietor, in explaining why he has not for some time pushed the sale of the abov,e, JL vi'ould state that he received such a perious check by the disastrous fire which destroyed .: costly appliances and a magnificent stock of prepared herbs (recently replaced), and he hsi not therefore been in a position to como before the public. He has not been able te satisfy : all the local and foreign demands, and whs uneble to adtrinieter as extensively as he could have desired to the wanta of a suffering world. MR KITCHENS is now happy.to state that he is ones again in a position to supply this heahh-giVing Medicine, which he is con* vinced will,' " with the bleeding of God," cure alinostany disorder, owing to itijrresistible yet gentle operation. In coming before the public and planting hia standard once more on the ramparts of the gveati enemy of mankind—i.e., sickness—he trusts that an overruling ; Providence will bleee his future efforts to mitigate the physical woen of man. In this even* ! ing's Stab appear a few of the hundreds of testimonials received by Mr Hitchens, one of J': which is from one of Auckland's beet known citizens. It requires no further oomment than to uny that his illness was of a most severe type, baffling the skill of medical men, while other , infallible remedies were tried without tho slightest change for the better. Here is what Captain Fabqtthab says of HITCHiSNS' BLOOD J&ESTO&ER:— ■ Anckland, October 15, 1883.—Daar Sir, —For twelve mouths I suffered severely from sciatica, and tried various remedies, without avail, and as a last resource I was recommended to give your Blood Seetorer a trial) which I did, and I have much pleaaure in testifying that aftar taking it for three montha I completely recovered my health. I may say I had no faith in it at first, but the result was such a thorough cure that I consider it my duty,to acknov ledge, unsolicited, its curative powers.—l am, Sir, faithfully yours, W. Fabquhab, Mute* ■.; Mariner, Ponsonby.—To H. A. H. Hitchens, Esq. , ' i The Proprietor would here intimate that £1,000 will bo 'orfeited to any ChatVable -*% Institution if the good done by his jMedicine has been over estimated. . 1 The Proprietor is prepared to meet on a public platform any persons wbr> dispute the j veracity of testimonials, and ho will undertake to prove tho genuineness of the cures effected, j He is filfio willing to meet in pubiic the medical gentlemen who have attended the patients j and have pronounced them incurable, and answer questions put relative to the facts of the j cases quoted. Medical men's names have, from motives of consideration, been excluded from j all testimonials, but then personal acknowledgment would add increasad brilliancy to the j farce of the medicine. . j Mr Aibx. Ea&lkton, Hairdresser, of Queen street, Auokland, suffered with a paralysed J arm, with every indication of the diseaee spreading through the body. The dectors pro- j nounced the caae hopolesp, and friends believed his end waa drawing near, when he was induced to give Hitchena'e Blood Restorer a trial, tho result being an immediate change for " the belter j and on continuing to take the medicine, he was completely reetorcd to health and strength. Mr D. It. Chisholm, Agent for Mr Hitchens.—Dear Sir, —It is with heartfelt (hanks I am able to endorse the sterling qualities of Mr Hitchcns'a invaluable Blood Restorer. Being induced by Mr Dieher, who epoke in eulogistic f^rtns of its merits, to place my wife (who was suffering very acntely with Rheum&tio IfGver) under its treatment, I am very happy to state the medicine hae acted quite magically. After a few doses pain entirely ceased, and she is making rapid progress, and is now enabled to resume her household duties. Acting so ' beneficially, I would not be without such a valuable remedy, and should impress upon these who aro similarly suffering not to overlook this specific, which : is inestimable.-—Believe me, yours very sincerely, THOMAS BROWN, Brittania Heights, Nelson. . Maraiti (near Howick), Auckland, 17th August, 1882. To H. A, H. Hitcbekb. —Sir, —I had been for five years suffering from an ulcerated leg, and after being twice under treatment in the Auckland Hospital, without any improvement, I was induced to give your blood restorer a trial, nnd am proud to say after four bottles and the use of your Ointment, I became quite well. Please accept my warmest thanks, and give this what publicity you wish, that others may benelit thereby.—Yours, most respectfully, CHARLES MORGAN, Maraiti. Sheridan street, off Wellington street, Auckland, Dec. 1,1882. Mb Hitohens.—Dear Sir,—As you have asked me to describe my state at the time Mr McMillan recommended me to use your Blood Restorer, and the effect it had on me, I will simply say that whether it was Lumbago, Sciatica, or Paralysis that made me co helpless, I do not know; but, at &ny rate, I was unable to stand for nine months, and had to be lifted like a baby, and my taste was entirely gone. Dr — said I had an affection of the spine, and that I should never have the übo of my limbs again. He brought another medical man to see me, and I was told that I would probahly live only a short time, and it was no use of their holding out false hopes. I thanked them, and felt as they did, Mr McMillan, living opposite, inquired what was the matter, and my husband told him.; He at % once said, "Let her take Mr Hitchen's Blood Restorer, for I believe that wilt put her all ' right." I did so, and after using the third bottle in the third week, I began to feel a change, and a tingling sensation in my limbs. Every subsequent bottle seemed to be doing me more good. The result is that after using eight bottles, Icm now quite well, do my own washing, and all the housework, and feel quite as well bb when I first came to Hew Zealand five yeare ago. I am always happy to tell people the good you did me, for lam sure I should not now be well and hearty, but most likely in my grave, if I had not put myself in your hand*. —I am, dear sir, yours faithfully, FLORA NICOL. Witness—HENßY HARTNOLL, Nelson street. I have much pleasure in testifying to the perfect accuracy of the above statement.—N. MoMILLAN, Vulcan Lane, Auckland. . # H. A« H. In Choleraic Diarrhoea, and oven in the more terrible forma of Cholera itself, we have witnessed its surprisingly controlling power. We have never used any other form of this medicine than Collis Browne's, from a firm conviction that it if decidedly the best, and also from a sense of duty wo owe to the profession and the public, as we are of opinion that the substitution of any other than Collis Browne's is; a DXIIBBBAia BREACH OP FAITH ON THE PAST OP THB OHBMISI TO ERKSGBIBBB AOT> PATIENT AT.TTfr We are, sir, faithfully yours, Symos and Co., Mombers of tho Pharna.
