There are reports in social circles in , London that Nemesis, in the shape of Affy Adams, is still pursuing Lord Cheif Jus^V tice Coleridge, who passed the exemplary sentence on Mr Yates. It is understood that the Adams-Coleridge case has been, or was to he, compromised by payment of a cheque for £3000, that being the amount of damages awarded to Mr Adams. But we now hear that that gentleman is going to bring another action for libel against the Coleridge family, this time against the Lord Chief Justice himself, for a libel contained in a letter which - Lord Cole* ridge wrote to his own sister-in-law. George Augustus Sala' is one .of tho few people who have received their eyesight after being totally blind for a num> berof years. For three years Sala lired m darkness. He had lost his sight, and it was supposed would be totally blind for the remainder of his life.
