Cricket.
A cricket match will be played on the Waia-Karaka Flat between an eleven of the Thames Cricket Club, and fifteen of the Union Club. The following are names of the teams :—
Union Club—E. Adlam, Nodder, Harrison, Lynch, Andrews, Onyon, Saunders, A. Adlam, Veale, O'Brien, Barchard, Deeble, Ladner, Morgan, and McCullough. Thames C.C.—-Clark, Smith, Hunter, Hoskins, Egginton, Lough, Pearce, Mills, Potts, Moorcraft, and Griffiths. Play will commence at 2 sharp. A match will also be played between the second eleven of the Thames Cricket Club, and an eleven of the Foundry Club. The followingare the names of the teams .— .Foundby Club : Broitnlpw, Dobbs, G. Newman, B. Newman, Sullivan, Maladey, Muir, Strong, Kingham, Ellery, and Thomas. Emergency, Wright. Thames 2nd Eeeven : Tregonning, Colhoun, Slight, Aitken, Muir, Coney, Newton, Airey, Bennett, Gillies, and Grubb. Emergencies, Eowe and Lo^we. —This match will also be played on the WaioKaraka Fiat.
