COROMANDEL MINING.
The Tokatea is turning out good crushing stuff from all the stopes in the intermediate level. I believe the present crushing, judging by the show already on the plates, will be equal to the last. The manager has now over three hundredweight of good picked stone in hand. Knox'i tribute party put through one ton of quarz for the good return of 53ozs of gold. The Home Bule started work again on Monday. The water in the Union Beach is now reduced below the 80ft level, and the machinery is working well.-—Star.
