St. Joseph's School Examinations.
A large number of parents and friends congregated this morning to witness the above examinations. There were present the Eevs. Father Fynes, Vicar-General, O'Reilly, and Reardon, Howick, and MesdamesEhrenfriedClaxton, the Misses Mcllhone, E. Ensor, Chilcott, McMurdo, and Messrs Cullen, Landers, Graham, etc.
The infant school was first examined, and acquitted themselves well. The palm must undoubtedly be given to Hugh Mcllhone, who sbowed to great advantage. The following is the list of

2nd and Ist Class—English History, geography, grammar, cleanliness, health of the body, ventilation, exercise, rest, mental arithmetic.
Song, " I love the merry, merry sunshine"; recitation (Louisa Scanlan) " Louisa on the doorstep."
