An inquest was held afc Alexandra on the body of Albert Bayliso, drowned while bathing with a number of companions in the Mangapiko creek. The boys, his companions, being frightened hid the deceased's clothes agreeing to say nothing about the matter, but one not being able to rest, informed his mother next morning in secret, who at once informed the father of the deceased, and Constable McLcod recovered the body.
