OHINEMURI.

(FBOIC OUR OWN COBBKBPONDIST.)

Paeboa, This day. Messrs J. Brown, Thorp and Eobson addressed the electors at the Paeroa Public Hall last night—Mr James Corbett, store-keeper, Waitekauri, in the chair. The meeting, which was well attended, listened attentively to the various addresses and several electors questioned the candidates regarding their future intentions if elected. The meeting, though not pledging itself to support any particular candidate, was evidently favorably impressed with the general views enunciated by Mr Brown, and his knowledge of the requirements of the district, his candidature being greatly promoted thereby. A rote of thanks to the candidates was passed, and a similar compliment to the Chairman concluded the proceedings. '
