Sir,—-As I believe it is only right and "Kir to criticise the acts of public bodies, wuls^ou try and obtain for the information OTXjtepayers, answers to the 'following qiieflW&: —Ist. What induced our Borough Coft^il to erect a sea-wall to Brown street %t<en nearly the same expense would haveXqonlinued the Beach Road from Curtis' tctfNgate to the same point, thereby enclosing an area so desirable for the future parade ground of the Thames volunteers. 2nd, Why are the authoriti- s moving at the public expense ihe fence wrongly erected in front of the Wesleyan Church. 3rd. Why do the authorities allow the trustee* of the Wesleyan Church to continue their fence down tbe middle of Cochrane street. 4th. What rigbt or privilege have they conferred on Mr May that he i« allowed to reside in the middle of Davy street, to the great disgust and danger of the neighbourhood P—l am, &c, Eatepayeb.
