Arrived : Ship May Queen, 96 days from Gravesond. She brings 46 passengers, all well. The voyage was most pleasant. Captain Capsell had a testimonial presented to him by the passengers, who speak highly of him and his officers.
The Fogoloa schooner, from Samoa/has arrived for repairs. '
The Edwin from Tahiti and Rarotongati brings a cargo of cotton, copra, pearl shell, coffee and oil.
In the Supreme court to-day, Judge Gillies delivered his charge. Nineteen prisoners; twenty-fourcharges; the calendar is light The Judge commented briefly on the two rape cases from Coromandel, and explained the law of fraudulent bankruptcy, in the cases of Utting and Meyers. He announced that the Government intended immediately to improve tho gaol so far as to provide better classification, especially in the female quarter.
