Thursday. Union Beach.-rNothing new ■.an the mine. In a copy of the directors' report a paragraph appears reflecting gravely upon the previous management. It is stated that stopes seem to have been left with a view to tribute, and will have to be worked over again. Tokatea.—-Likely, to finish crushing tonight; a large yield expected. " : Whangapoua.—The Fanny cleared out with timber, and about fifty passengers. The Albatross arrived yesterday after ten days' run to Napier and back.
The Kenilworth leaves for Napier tonight. This day. Tokatea.—At a meeting of directors they declared a dividend of two shillings and six pence. The return from 107 tons of general stuff is 166 ozs. Eoyal Oak.—The manager reports having obtained specimens. The mine generally is looking well; 59 ounces melted gold obtained from 25 tons stuff. Golden Point.—4B ozs 15 dwts from 31 lbs stone.
