Tuesday. James Pilcher, a settler, has sent in a claim to the Superintend.ent for any reward offered? by the Government for':the discovery of a payable goldfield; He asserts that he has found alluvial gold on Allan McLean's run at Tuki Tula, but not sufficient particulars are to hand to warrant an opinion as to whether the discovery is wortlr any thing or not.
