The crushing at the. Prince 'Alfred has been of an intermittent character, and the sources of supply from different parts of the mine, the principal tonnage, however, has been from No. 6 stope, the total quantity being 209 tons, which have returned the satisfactory yield of 293 ounces 15 dwts retorteff#»id. This crushing does not include any por« tion of the large cross lode now being stamped, the sample test of 9 tons having yielded 11 ounces 10 dwts amalgam; it is intended to complete a large parcel before cleaning up from this lode. Six head stampers are also continued on the quartz from other sources.'. '
