COROMANDEL.

This day. Tokatea.—About 40lbs of specimens from the- Siege level, and a small parcel from the rise.

Royal Oak. —A small quantity of specimens last night. Union Beach.—Stone is being got out which shows gold splendidly. The Slack .Reef Company have cut the leader, which is showing a little gold. In the Bismarck there was a narrow escape from an accident to-day. The stuff fell from the roof on a miner and nearly precipitated him down the winze 70 feet.

In the Kapanga a miner named Field had his foot nearly torn off to-day by the machinery. It is expected that it will be necessary to amputate the leg.
