Select iteni.—Glover the actor, known on the Thames and elsewhere and noted as a light-fingered gentleman, has nearly finished his last term of six months. He is expected to be out in time to dance a highland fling at the Caledonian sports.
The last of the new electoral rolls rendered necessary by the amended Representation Act passed last session will be completed in about a week, and the writs for the general election will issue almost immediately thereupon.
