The man was identified as William Hogg, * mason, 44 years of age. The body of the 1 woman was identified as Hogg's wife. A warder in the Asylum states that on th* afternoon of the 16th instant he saw the couple together in Studlej Park clos£^ to the river. 'Both' were 'known as heavy drinkers, and although nothing had been heard of them since. the 14th, no notice was taken of their disappearance, owing to their idle and dissolute habits. Marks, of violence, exist on the woman's body, but whether connected with the cause of death is not known. . ' '.','.«"
