According to the Castlemaine Representative, Mr W. Burnett, J. P., has again been distinguishing himself. At a meeting of (he: Hospital Committee -on Wednesday,-ho insulted Dr McGatb, and the latter, after both had left the room, soundly boxed Mr Burnett's ears, after which the mrgistrate apologised to the irate doctor.
A men recently took a bath in the dark. He managed very well, only he got hold of a piece of stove-blacking instead of soap—with marked results.
