Atkinson. Mr Buckley stands but little chance, as the votes this side will outnumber Patca, even if Patea are favourable to him. .
The salmon ova'has been placed in the Waiwaksjiio stream, and is in an excellent condition. Trout from the ova sent last j year from Uunedin are doing well. Twelve large ones and eight small .were discovered when clearing'oufc the hatching boxes for the salmon. ,
