(Before W. Fraser, Esq., 8.M.) ' DHUNKENNESS. One person was charged with this offence and pleaded guilty, receiving the usual infliction. ..-..' ILLEGAL SLAUGHTERING. William Avenell pleaded guilty to slaughtering one animal, namely a calf, at a place other than a licensed" slaughter house, namely on his premises in Pollen street, Sliortland, and was fined 20s and costs. . ■ Court adjourned.
