Participation in Profits is authorised by-the'Legis-lature to be given to Policy-holders. ch 3~No Policy or Medical Pees 4—All Policies are non-forfeit-aple after one full annual payment V> the full extent oi their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, until the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurers, -after having paid-three full annual premiums, are guaranteed a J cash surrender value of not lees than4o per cent, of the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums ere notpaid i#en Sue, muridup Policy will he issued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid.-and often muchinexcess. ... ; : 7-Liberal conditions ai tb travel. hng and residence. 8-Policies protected from Bank-ruptcy.--Aa Insurance Policy effeoted by the Insured, Una fide on his own life, is protected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to a certain amount,: which increases with its duration. Thus, afier It has endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500 j after. seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection npplies only in favour of the personal repreeentative of the Insured. .9—Married Women may effiset Policies, dispoee of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from, the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. Settlement Policies.—Policies effected- for the benefit of tbe wife and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years. If apportionment is not made at the time, it can be subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy docs nofc exceed £200,;|he Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt ..payment of Claims and no discount charged.
