A PPLICATION has beon made by Geobge JA. Coopeb for the Missouri Gold Mining Company, Limited, to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked X on the Tararu Crvek, about six hundred yards above its juEction with the Ohio Creek, and terminating at a point about a hundred feet below the Missouri Company's Battery si'e at. Ohio Creek, indicated by a peg marked X. The length of such Race is a quarter of a mile, or thereabouts, and its intended course is along Tararu Creek The mean depth and breadth of such Race is one foot six inches by two feet, and it, is capable of carrying Three sluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which ifc it is intended to appropriate is Three. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 23rd day of November, 1875, a License may be granted to the said Missouri Gold Mining Company, Limited, for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection.be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. Warden's Office, Thames, 25th October, 1875. A PPLIOATION has been ma<3e by E. T. -£jL Wildmaw for the Golden Arro., Gold Mining Company (Limited) to construct a Water Race for mining purposes commencing at a point on Neves' Creek, about 700 feet scuth of head of Tairua Company's race, and terminating just above head of said race. The length of such race is seven hundred and fifty feet, or thereabouts, and its intended course is north arid south. The mean depth and breadth of bucli race is eighteen inches by two feet, and it is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water; and the number of sluice heads of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is two. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 2nd day of December. 1875," a License may be granted to the said Golden Arrow Gold Mining Company (Limited) for the abovedescribed Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing, and ! lodged,at this office, not less than seven clear days before that date.
