COKOMANDEL,

Thursday.

Tokatea.—The manager's report indicates nothing of considerable importance. The usual works are going on in the mine ; small quantities of good stone are ob. tamed in the Siege and Van levels, with general prospects good.

The Royal Oak.—The manager reports a great improvement in the appearance of the winze, and a first class show of gold in the leader, with a parcel of good stone during the week. The crushing of about 35 tons gave about 64 ounces retorted gold.

Biimarck.—-The return from the crushing of 44 tons stuff gave the handsome yield of four hundred and thirty-four (434) ounces retorted gold.

This day.

Union Beach.—The manager reports a rapid extension of Jthe low level towards the lode. The country is very good, and he expects to resume work in the winze very shortly. Tiki.—One or two new claims have been taken up in this locality.

Royal Oak.—The leader is looking extremely well. Expect specimens at first breaking down.

The Two Brothers sailed to-day for the Thames.
