CALEDONIAN.
Operations for supply of quartz are carried upon the Young American reef, and upon the foot, wall lode at the south section of the mine, with fair average stone for crushing purposes. The rise from No. 2 level is up the required height, and men are now driving to connect with the Cure lode, the country is hard, and it is not expected to be broken through in less than ten days.
