The Tokatea leader is over 2 feet wide. From the ¥an level about 25lbs of picked stone were got and still looking well; picked stone got from the Siege level and gold is showing in No. 3 level. They intend crushing about thirty tons of stuff at the Whakaroa battery.
The City of Auckland crushing from 108 tons of general stuff is 142 ounces retorted gold. The manager reports Hopefully of the future of the mine. Gold is showing in the leader in the low level. The rise is up about 17 feet. Another small leader is showing gold freely.
Royal Oak. —The manager states the mine, generally, is improving. The winze is down 14 feet; gold shows in the stone, and looks hopefully for the future.
Bismarck.—A good parcel of specimens reported last night, with a first-class show left in the face.
Kelly's claim started a trial crushing at the Nil battery to:day.
