' The retorting for tluscompany at the : Euranui battery has fully justified the V> expectations attached to the out-put from No. 1 reef, 673 ounces retorted gold being obtained for 14 days' run. A few more . ounces have yet to come in. Operations/ ? have also been commenced on an intermediate level, 32 feet above the bottom, or at the 388 feet from surface, where the supply from reefs will be to hand, after some 30 feet of driving is accomplished. .
