WELLINGTON.

This day

A brilliant ball was given last night by tho Members of the Assembly. There were about 400 present, amongst whom were J?is Excellency the Governor, Lady Normanby, and Captain D'xgbj, H'.M.S. Sappho. It was held in the large building just erected as an addition to the Museum. The rooms were decorated with flags of all nations, there was an excellent band, aud every arrangement was simply perfect.
