This day. Too House met at 7.'10 p.m. Sir George Grey's Goldmining District Act Amendment Bill was read a second time. Tlie Coroner's Act Amendment Bill was read a second time on the understanding it would not be proceeded further with this session. The Tairoa. Maori Representation Act Amendment Bill was thrown out by 29 to 17. The Native Minister opposed the bill. The House adjourned at 1.30 a.m.
