October 2. The Council rejected the Stamp Bill. A. majority of five passed the Education and Intercolonial Free Trade Bills, with material alterations. The Government propose to borrow £3,000,00!) for railways and public works. The three-feet-six guage will be adopted, with one or two exceptions.
