LONG DRIVE.
The usual monthly cleaning up took place at the Moanatairi battery where 5 head stampers have been employed, and for a few days extra 5 head for the purpose of testing new reefs from out the All Nations section of the claim. The satis-
factory crushing may be inferred from the fact ot 420 ounces gold being retorted.
