The steamer Hero from Sydney passed the Bay of Islands early this morning.
The schooner Canterbury has been sold for £650. Thomas Niccol was the purchaser.
Frances Dwyer has been committed for trial for stealing a large number of articles from the place where she was employed as a nurse girl twelve months ago. She has since been living at Napier but lately returned..
