Parti. cipation in Profits is authorised by the Legislature to be given to Policy-holders. 2- Premium rates are lower than those of Private Companies. A 3—No Policy or Medical Fees' charged. 4—All Policies • are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of their value, under a special regulation providing for the continuance in force of every Policy for the original amount, untjl the surrender-value of the Policy is exhausted in payment of premiums. s—Absolute Security from Loss* —Insurers, after having p»id three full an. nual premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender value of not less than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums; and if for any reason the premiums are not paid when due, a paidup Policy will be issued, generally equal in amount to. the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Benewal Premiums. 7—Liberal conditions a» to travel. ling.and residence. 8--Policies protected from Bank* ruptcyi—An Insurance Policy effected by the Insured, Una fide on his own life, is pro* tected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws to. a certain amount, which increases with its duration. Thus, after it has endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200: after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten years, to £2000. This protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Poli. ciea, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies—Policies effected f<r jtlie benefit of the wife and children of the Insured aro absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than seven years.
