Michael Costello, charged with attempting suicide, pleaded Not Guilty. Mr Laishley, for "prisoner, urged in defence that the man was in a low, despoadent state of mind, amounting to insanity, and he was discharged^:. W; {
Andrew Heavy was charged with a breach of the Pawnbrokers' Act, in failing to deliver certain articles pawned. The case was dismissed.
