Neves' Creek, east of Jackson's Store, and terminating at a point about two hundred yards bl'low the Tairua Company's machine site. The leugth of such race is six hundred yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is eastward and westward 1. The mean depth and breadth of Mich race is three feet by two feet, and it is capable, of carrying two sluico heads of water; and the number of s'.uice heads it is intended to appropriate is two, of forty inches each ; and the land required is six feet on each side of the said race. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 26th day of October., 1875, a License may be granted to the said Francis Day kin for the above described Water Race, unless valid objection bo in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office, not less than seven clear days before that date.
