SOUTH DEVON, NO. 1 TRIBUTE.

The above tributers, Noble and Party, have put a parcel of 10 tons through Sprague's Battery, on the Hape creek, for the return of 8 ounces 2 dwts of retorted gold. The result of this trial is, we believe, very satisfactory to them, as the previous crushing was not of a payable character (outside of a crusher of their own) although, we believe, they still intend to give it another trial at the above mill.
