Easily Pleased.—"Hare you any eggs ? " inquired a peaceful-looking old man as ha leaned! over the counter of a hardware store recently. " No, sir ; this is a hardware store. We keep nails, stoves, &c," answered the clerk. " Well, I did want some eggs,'' drawled out the old man, " but I hain't particular, and you may give me a pound of nails."
