Samuel* Hindman, on remand, was charged on the information of his father with being" a refractory boy beyond parental control, and the father prayed that he might be sent to the Naval Training School. Mr Bullen had caused enquiry to be made and he found the father's statements were correct. He had been turned from school because he was unmanageable. His Worship committed the boy to the Naval Training School for three years. In answer to questions the boy said he was 12 years of age on the 7th September, and went to the Baptist Church. MUSIC AND DANCING. Henry Winchcombe applied for permission to have music and dancing in his licensed house, the Pembroke Hotel, on the 31st August. Granted conditionally upon the house being closed to the public at the usual hours 1.
