The monthly return of gold is 1266 ounces.
* This day. Union Beach.—About 10 lbs of rich specimehs^ot last night; a- good show in thY face. About 278 lbs specimens are 'being crushed, and a^yield;of 700 ozs ex pected. r Royal Oak—There is a riss in the market to-day here, but the legal manage? and others can give no cause for it. ; Tokatea.-7-A good show of gold reported in the face and stopes in the Siege level. A tramway has been surveyed to Bennett's battery on the line from the Van level.
Harbor View.—The tributers got a fewpounds of specimens going through the large lede at a still lower level.
