Monday. Bishop Moran writes to the Times contradicting a statement which recently appeared in the Wellington Tribune that a pastoral had been issued by the Bishop against the Abolition of the Provinces, and "says tliere is no truth in it. A meeting re Abolition, was held at Mosgiel, and a resolution, passed declaring for delay, and the bill to go before the country.
