This day. After the division on the tecond reading of the Abolition Bill-
Major Atkinson moved that the House should go into committee of the whole to consider the Billon Tuesday next. The motion was carried, and the House adjourned at a quarter to 2 a.m. Some altercation ensued between Messrs O'Connor, - Murray and the Speaker at eleven regarding the usual adjournment, apparently through misapprehension, and the Speaker told these hon. members they would never address him again in the way : they. did that evening. Mr O'Connor has given notice to make the matter a question of privilege.
