Baenes for a LICENSE to construct a Water Eace for goldmining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked E E on a creek about a hundred yards north of Measlestown Creek, falling into head of fourth branch of Tairua Biver, taking in unnoccupied streams along course of Eace, and terminating at a point on Pearl Claim indicated by peg marked E E.. ■ The length of suck Eace is three miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west. The mean depth and breadth of • such Eace is one foot six inches by two feet, and it is capable of carrying five sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is five, and the land required for euch Eace is fifteen feet on each side thereof. NOTICE is therefore given, t hat on the 21st day of September, -1875, a License may be granted to the said William G. The length of such Bace, 'is half a mile, or thereabouts, and its^ intended course is N.E. and S.W. The 'mean depth and breadth of such Eace is three.feet by two feei, and it is capable of carrying Five sluice heads of water; and the number of sluice heads of forty inches eacTf which it is intended to appropriate is Five.
