The extraordinary general meeting of tHe above campany was held in the .Pacific Hotel this morning. T. Mr B."W. Jackson was in the chair, and called upon Mr Wildman, Secretary, to read the advertisement calling the meeting. ■■ :••.-• . Mr.Tyler explained to the meeting^the..: Objects pf the meeting, and reaions .why such meeting was called. After w.hich the following resolution was proposed by Mr Daniels and seconded by Mr Snllivan < and carried :—That the number of the directors of the company namely ten (10) be reduced, by five, and that number »halL go out of office immediately. Graham, Joseph Howard, L. > Ehrenfried. and W. Sully, being persons * holding not less than 50 shares each in the company be, and they are hereby

Seconded by Mr Ehrenfried, and carried. • - 3Cr Tyler read a|Cppy of rules drawn lip for the company,'whicK were adopted hy the meeting. Proposed by Mr Sullivan and seconded by Mr Sully that this meeting hereby ratifies and confirms all acts heretofore done by each and every of : the ;: shareholders who have been acting as'directors for the purpose of carrying on the business of the company, and that whether such shareholders were regularly ap pointed directors or not.
