APPLICATION has been made by John Ariht/b, for the Ajax Goldmining Company, Limited, for LICENSE to Construct a Dam, and to occupy as a Site for such Dam thirty feet by two hundred feet of land situated at Paki'rarahi, on the Britannia Creek, one hundred yards below junction of Ajax and Britannia Creeks, having at each angle thereof a peg marked EA. The proposed height of the. said Dam is eighteen feet. . ■'.■■.' NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 14tH day of September, 1575, a License may be granted to the said Ajax Goldmining Company, Limited, for the above described Dam Site, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in ■writing aucl lodged, at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. • W. A PPLICATION has been made by John JLX Aimnm, for Ajax Gold Minng Company Limited, for a LICENSE to consfruct a Water Euce for gold mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by apeg:marked EX, on a creek known as Measlestewn Creek, being a branch of fourth bianch of Tairua.Creek j also taking in.tributaries along course of such lace xinoccupied, and terminating at a point on Rule Britannia Creek, about two hundred yards above the v tunnel of Rule Britannia Clsim. The length of such race is two and a half miles or thereabouts, and its iutended course is cast and west. The mean depth and bread:h of such rues is two. frot by three feet, and it is capable of canning five sluice heads of water of forty inchcp, and the number of sluice heads intended to car.y through such race is five; nnd the amount cf ground required on either side for protection is ten feet. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 14th day of September. 1875, a License may be granted to the said Ajax Gold Mining Company, Limited, for the above described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office, not less than eeven clear days before thatdate. Warden's Office, Thames, August 9, 1875. A PPLICATION has been made by XJL William G. Baknes for . a LICENSE to construct a Water Bace for goldmining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked E E on a creek about a hundred yards north of Measlestown Creek, fulling into head of fourth branch of Tairua River, taking in unnoccupied streams along course of Bace, and terminating at a point on Pearl Claim indicated by peg marked E E. The length of such Race i 3 three, miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west. The mean depth and breadth of such Race is one foot six inches by two feet, and it is capable of curving five sluice head* of wxter, and the number of sluice heads of watee of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is five, and the land required for euch Bace is fifteen feet on each side thereof. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 21st day of September, 1875, a License may be granted to the said William Gh Babnes fir the above-describ.d Water Race, unless valid objection be in tbe meantime made in writing und lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date.
