J\- : Btomeb for.; a LICENSE to constructa Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked X, about "l£ miles above the old track" leading from Smith's store to The Brothers clainii and terminating at a point indicated by a peg marked X, about a mile below the limngstone claiinjj Ipuriri. The length of such race is bix miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is south westerly. The: mean.breadth and. depth of such Eace is six feet by four feet, and it is capable of carrying five sluice heads of water, and. the land required for the said raco is sixty six 1 feet on each side of the centre of the said race.
