The manager reports that work Is still being directed to the various portions of the mine enumerated before, and, he is now crushing stuff from the Manukau reef and the three-feet lode, upon which latter operations were lately resumed. The show from the three-feet reef was rather poor last week, but for a few days past there has- been a marked improvement. The manager is desirous of thoroughly prospecting these two lodes, in order to get at their true value. There is another nice looking reef in the long tunnel, which at some time will, no doubt, be followed up.
