(Before His Honer Judge BtOKHAM.) The Court sat this morning at halfpast ten o'clock.

WM. HEWITT V. SONS OF FREEDOM G.M. CO.

This was a claim for £7315 a lid for goods supplied.

Adjourned till next sitting day. JOHN THOMAS V. FBEDEBICK A. PULLEINB

Claim for £80, money had and received. This action was discontinued by plaintiff. SHOTOVER NO. 1 a.M. CO. V. JAMES CBATG. Claim for £86 18s 6d, money had and received. Mr Miller appeared for plaintiffs. Confession had been made before the Clerk to the Court for full amount, £86 18s 6d and costs, £5 ss. APPLICATION HE DONNELLY. Mr Miller said he had an application to make to His Honor re case Donnelly who had been brought up on a judgment summons and ordered to pay the amount by instalments. No instalment had been paid. His Honor thought there was no necessity for making an application, but the 'Clerk could issue a warrant for imprisonment at once. The Clerk had only to make sure that the instalment had not been made.

On reference .to the records it was found that the defendant Donnelly had been ordered to pay £3 per month or undergo two months' imprisonment. The Court ruled that the Clerk could perform all that was necessary in the matter. The Court adjourned.
