•: This day. The Eoyal Oak sent a parcel of crushing stuff, to the battery to-day. A low level contract was let to-day. Tokatea. —The manager of the tramway is forwarding stuff to Bennett's battery from the mine. The show on the plates is favorable. Peter's claim is sending quartz to the Nil Desperandum battery. Good stone is got from the leader. Mr Wright, surveyor, from Grahamstown, arrived last night. He is likely to survey several of the mines before leaving. The Emily cut a new leader yesterday with gold in payable quantities.
